In looking at this line, one easily sees how this product is truly different from everything else in the market. BLACKCOMB's state-of-the-art 5.0 series controller is a constant current electronic power source housed in a splash-proof case and comes standard with a "future-proof" expandability port for future upgrades or options. A colour user interface allows for easy visual identification of remaining lamp life and any error or fault codes. The system even incorporates QR codes to access lamp change information and videos via web access. Rugged 304 stainless steel, single-end reactors come with an integral port to allow for a future upgrade to a UV monitored system. If a monitor is not required, an integral visual glow plug is provided as an extra way to ensure that your UV lamp is illuminated (Note: glow plug and monitor upgrade are not available on LB5-031 and LB5-032 models). The single-end design allows for lamp change without the need to drain the reactor chamber. Reliable, industry proven, high quality low pressure (LP) coated UV lamps are used offering a consistent output over their 9,000 hour life. Flow rates of 11, 20, 29, 49 & 83 lpm (3, 5, 7.5, 13, & 22 gpm), in both 120V or 230V applications, are offered in the NSF Class B BLACKCOMB5.0 series of products.

Discription Technical Data
This integral control module allows for a 4-20mA connection on all Blackcomb 5.1/6.1 products. This device will allow for a 4-20mA signal transfer of the UV output to a remote device such as a data logger or computer. Simply plug the supplied cable into the "IEP" port on the UV sensor module (or daisy chain to any other module used in the system). Two screw the terminals are supplied to connect the wire that leads to the receiving end of the signal. As the distance required is unknown, no wire is supplied with this system, however 16-22 AWG is required.
For use in all Blackcomb 5.1/6.1 products. Install a NORMALLY CLOSED line voltage solenoid valve (not supplied) into this junction box. Connect the power and the supplied lead to the controller. Please note that when this device is connected to a blackcomb 5.1 system (without the UV model), then the solenoid will close on a lamp failure mode only. When used on a Blackcomb 6.1 system the solenoid will close when the UV level drops below 50%. Also note that in cases where emergency use of untreated water is required, the controller an be placed into a manual override mode allowing for the flow of water in an alarm condition.
